WHAT WE SAY

The Owl

“And yesterday the bird of night did sit
Even at noon-day upon the marketplace,
Hooting and shrieking. When these prodigies
Do so conjointly meet, let not men say,
“These are their reasons. They are natural.”
For I believe they are portentous things
Unto the climate that they point upon.”
– William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
The Ferocious Owl. A nocturnal animal typically associated with the mystery of magic, clairvoyance, omens, silent wisdom and vision. A symbol of magnificence, intuition and insight into the unknown. The spirit animal of our Faculty – a guiding light for us all and a constant reminder of our power.

These are dark times, my friends. As we attempt to navigate this difficult time together and steer our lives in the right direction, one of our goals as the Guild Committee of the Faculty of Humanities and Education is to find ways to support one another through the expression of the multidisciplinary arts that all lie within our virtual walls.

Through the valour of our efforts, the pleasure of our working and the virtue of your patience, we present to you “HumEdu Today” – a collection of tales from the brilliant minds of the members of our Faculty, stories for your wellbeing and an unparalleled display of aptitude aimed at helping us to make sense of our realities by liberating our thought-provoking perspectives.

Our team at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Guild Committee has worked tirelessly, night and day, to bring these tales to light, and we crave your curiosity.
Bienvenido al Forza Azul.
